I thought that I saw adapters on a site like Llamma.com or another site.. not sure. I had a problem with an older Xbox I had with the power supply but luckily I was able to get a foxlink.

Not sure of your xbox version but this is what I found on Llamma.com.

http://secure.llamma...&products_id=73

It says 1.0-1.1 compatible with 1.2-1.5 using adapter kit but don't see the adapter kit sold separately on their site.

sorry man, obviously wasn't paying attention enough. Didn't even see you said both are for a 1.4 box. Didn't realize they had 2 different power supplies for 1 version. Shouldn't the plug match?

I just figured you had the same problem as me, finding a power supply for an older xbox.

I wouldn't think it would matter. Just different wiring colors cause they're from 2 different companies. If they're both for 1.4 Xboxes I can't see how there could be any difference. Don't take what I say though. Don't want you to fry your Xbox either. Hopefully someone who knows for sure can tell you.

The power supplies fuse should keep any electric from hitting your mother board if it isn't right.
