Hey I too have the same problem, I don't remember when it stopped, I know I was using it before, but now it's just dead, always freezes at the evoX loading screen, I've done the exact same things, ie. delete reinstall, delete the E drive directory that corresponds, no go, i even tried downgrading evoX and my bios to older versions. but still no go?!?!

Does Anybody know a fix for this? uhh.gif

I wonder is this problem solved yet? I have the same trouble. With EvoX executed from the hardisk, I can actually let the boXplorer and PCMAN (a simple game) running well. But just can not let the xbmp running. It always shows the BIG GREEN mark of EvolutionX, then return to the EvoX menu. I tried the bumped to configure the config.xml and the .cut. Put both in e:/apps/xbmp and also c:/. Just don't work. Any one can help me? I tried it about 1 month but still..... uhh.gif

HELP!

A few things:

Delete e:tdataface007system.bin

Disable ALL evo-x IGR (In Game Reset).

Pull out the network cabel and start.

If you use the mediaplayer.cut file, edit it to point to right partion and folder. (also make sure it points to default.xbe and not xbplayer.xbe)

If this donīt work, delete EVERY singel file that has to do with xbmp.
Again, delete e:tdataface007system.bin
Install xbmp 2.3 complex point release to a NEW folder. (dont need to be a diffrent partion)
And start

Thanks for JayDee although I can not find the system.bin tongue.gif .

But somehow the Setting screen pops up after I modified the XBOX Media Player.cut file. I really do not know the exact one action that makes some process. List all changes I 've been made,

1.XBOX Media Player.cut :

<shortcut>
<path>Harddisk0Partition1appsxbmpdefault.xbe</path>
</shortcut>

<!-- This file is used when use XBMP as default dashboard -->
<!-- Place this file in the root of 'C' ("Partition2") -->
<!-- Edit file to point at the xbplayer.xbe & its folder -->

<!-- Xbox patition table reference -->
<!-- 'C', "Harddisk0\Partition2" -->
<!-- 'D', "Cdrom0" -->
<!-- 'E', "Harddisk0\Partition1" -->
<!-- 'F', "Harddisk0\Partition6" -->
<!-- 'X', "Harddisk0\Partition3" -->
<!-- 'Y', "Harddisk0\Partition4" -->
<!-- 'Z', "Harddisk0\Partition5" -->

2.Use xbmp_4-8-03 and Evox V1.8.3752

The 1st item is the last move I took and further tries may be required.

<shortcut>
<path>Harddisk0|Partition1|apps|xbmp|default.xbe</path>
</shortcut>

and

e:|tdata|0face007|system.bin (I have to use | instead of the normal alt gr + plus as it seams it dont like them here)
exists and can couse many of the lockups.
