Hi there,

I recently installed the Enigmah mod chip on my Xbox, and would like to upgrade the 8GB HD to something larger (say, 80GB). How exactly can a hard drive be upgraded with an ENIGMAH chip installed (can it even be done with this chip?)? Any help regarding this problem would grealty be appreciated, thanks!

it cannot be done with an enigmah BIOS.

You need the HDD-swap trick.
Some bioses that have this :
evox2.x , x-ecuter , complex 1.xx

So if u want a modchip with those bioses you can :
-buy an x-ecuter ($49)
-buy an openxbox and flash with one of those bioses ($59)
-make an homebrew mod and flash with one of those bioses ($5-10)
-flash your build-in bios ($0)

It can be done with an enigmah if you boot with the enigmah mod and then dissable the mod with a switch or by cutting the two wires, and then flashing the retail BIOS on your xbox with the EvoX BIOS. go to the tutorials section at xbox-scene and look for the HDD swap tutorial and also the adding switches tutorial. I have done this many times, never had a problem... instead of mounting the switches outside and wrecking my awesome paintjob on my xbox, I mounted them inside inder the DVD drive.... only need to switch them when doing major things.... anyway I am becoming long winded, good luck, it can be done, research the forums all the answers are there.
