i got my backup of my MSdash but i think my brother or his friends may have renamed a file while trying to get the MSdash to work (it has not worked since i got my softmod on)

and i am afriad of trying to restore the MSdash and having something wrong.

so anyone want to use MSN/net meeting to do remote desktop so you can check out my xbox harddrive?
or i can give you my IP so you can view my xbox via FTP.

i just wanna make sure all the files are good to go...

Well, you could just make a filelist of what you've got currently.

Another option would be downloading slayers and using the Retail C files from there.

btw: I realy doubt I could FTP into your xbox.

it works. just DMZ my xbox's IP and you can have FTP to it by just typing my modems IP
just my FTP server on my PC would be down for that time.

file list?
well any simple program to do that?
because there a quite a few files in the MSbackup folder...

and is there a file i can download from xbins that has a backup of the MSdash?

Slayers. However is is not *directly* available at xbins. You'll only find a torrent for it on xbins.

Or you could use hardware.

FTP into your box, and then make screenshots (prnt screen, instert in PhotoShop or whatever) of all folders and subfolders.

You still have FTP acces obviously.. just obtain Slayers and open it up and take out the MS dash files and replace with what you currently have.
