While removing the controller connecter from my DVD Dongle's pcb I completely mutalated severat of the soldering points, most were salvagable but,

The fourth Contact when looking at the front of the pcb(curved side down of course); the White wire I believe,
is completely toast. That connector is fucking crazy to remove cleanly?!!!

Is there another place on the board I can solder to?

I can't see one myself because of the damage to the point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated sad.gif

Can Anyone at least tell me where to find an Indepth wiring diagram of the dvd dongle's PCB?

Or does anyone have a dongle they want to let go of, and ship to Canada for cheap?

Not 100% sure what you mean soupy?

If the original soldering point is completely gone on the white wire connect, how can i use a multimeter to track anything?

Seriously, it's as simple as taking a look at the front of the pcb "if you have one handy"
and giveng a short description of where the fourth from the right contact should lead .

Or even better post a nice close up pic of a working PCB so I can educate myself.

the serial on the board says X01469-100, if this helps narrow down the exact model of Dongle Pcb I am talking about.

Help a man who loves his dongle biggrin.gif
