I cannot find the clear buttons and ring around the eject button. Customxbox.net doesn't carry them anymore and I cannot find another site that has them.

Any help?

If you are goint to cast your own buttons, I would do so out of acrylic resin, you can buy it at a hardware store. I would also advise you not to use play Doh for the mold. laugh.gif

Hey Jim. It's been a while. Anyhow. . .

About the XCM clear buttons. . . bad news.

The XCM clear buttons fit the XCM clear LED lens (the thing that diffuses the LED light around the eject button), and the XBOX grey buttons fit the XBOX clear LED lens, but in most cases, the two are not easily swappable. Secondly, once you get the button to fit into the clear lens, you will have a problem getting the lens piece to fit into a stock XBOX front panel housing easily. Believe me, I've tried. It's certainly not impossible to make it all work, but it requires plenty of dremeling and sanding, and possibly filing.

Just thought I'd help a brother out.

Check with "eboxenhancements" on ebay. He's always selling clear P/E buttons among other xbox related parts. If you don't see an auction for one, email the guy and he'll hook you up.

I buy from there once in a while.

That sounds like a good idea actually, the buttons would light up with the eject lights. You'd have to heat the play-doh so it wouldn't move when u took it apart to put the glue inside. I might try that sometime.

And those ones off llamma are standard ones.

Love that case bobthenob! good work!
