i have found out how to make a removable portable interchangable hdd adapter for the xbox without having to prepare a new hdd opening the case or having to deal with out voiding the warranty at allit is wery easy and should only cost about $50 if u already have some hdds

1] first you need a ide to usb adapter here

2] then you need a usb adapter plug here

now u are starting to get my point are you

3] connect everything so that the hdd is plugged into the controller port and if you have a soft mod, hard mod, or no mod it should be identified as a very BIG memory card and you can use it to store games, apps, movies, and other such stuff for use on your xbox

i have done this and it DOES WORK so dont say it cant happen or it couldnt happen because i have done it

plus you can use as many as you want at any time if you have the appropriot addapters to split the controller ports with multiple taps available from http://www.lik-sang.com/

Not possible unless you do folder sharing from your computer over XBMC (and I guess other dashes), but this isn't the right forum for that.

That's exactly what the Xbox thinks it is. A big memory card. You can't store games, apps, movies, etc on it. You can't load games, apps, movies, etc off it. All it is is a giant memory card to store game saves on it. Take a picture of the contents of the drive that the xbox thinks it is, and then a movie of you loading it up. Then I might believe you.
