The quickest and easiest way would probably be to just dish out 50 bucks and buy the adapter
Good luck

Where do you live? I've had a debit card since I was 16.

Here's the link;

Vga tutorial

It sucks that your parents won't let you use their credit card but maybe you could trade with someone on the Buy/Sell forum, if building your own adapter is beyond your means.beerchug.gif ,

If your Debit card has a credit card logo on it (not sure what canadians use, Mine has a Visa logo on it) you can use it as a credit card, it just goes right from your bank account. Plus companies like Visa will refund your money if anything goes wrong. You may want to check with your bank. Anymore.. you dont need a credit card to buy things electronically since most bank cards allows the use of such things. Plus you dont stand a chance of messing up your credit record since it goes right from your bank account. The worst you could do is overdraft and be charged like $20 or your card is denied.

As for the easiest? Buy a adaptor.. around $50. Other way is to make your own and do a bit of modding on the xbox (what ever bios you use) to use it, will be around $15, but a more can go wrong. Plus if you buy one, you can typically use it for any HD device.

This adapter is what I use. The high definition looks great on a computer monitor. Because the adapter has 2 outputs, I ran a vga cable through my wall and use a wireless controller to have xbox in two rooms.

using pixel's firmware would it be possible to just buy a HD kit and hook up a component to VGA cable that I have for an LCD projector?

When you get a credit card buy this tongue.gif

http://x2vga.com/

Makes life simple, or like me just get a PC TV Tuner card. Not worth the hassle building a VGA cable you get many problems with Linux on a VGA bios and some games/apps don't work to on a VGA bios.

A lot of people say the VD-Z3 is better then the X2, mostly because it works with any component video.
