Hey guys. This was brought up in another thread. But never really dwelled on. Would it be hard/possible to take out the transmitter from a cheap wireless controller, and put it into an S controller? If so, would it take up a card slot thing?

Thanks.

There's my original thread. Look at that controller board, and tell me it's worth the effort. I don't think it is.

are you talking about the transmitter for a controller or wireless headset?

but i doubt you could take a wireless transmitter off a cheapo, and integrate to and S-type. but some pictures would help if at all possible

I'm with lostboyz, i doubt it would work. The controller might be close (with the PCB) but probably wouldn't work with just whacking a wireless transmitter in there. Plus u'd need space inside and i dunno what the S controllers are like

I'm sorry...I pointed you to the wrong thread.

This thread has lots of big pictures, and shows how almost impossible it would be. Your best bet is to put the guts into an "S", not moving the transmitter.
