Hi All,

My brother's kids knocked out his Xbox last week, so he picked up a replacement, which happens to be one of those Bell Canada Xbox promotions (crystal blue case).

Does anyone know the version of those Xboxes? I'd like to get him a modchip as a surprise, but I don't know what version it is.

Thanks...

All the new chips work with all versions...unless you are going solderless.

Ya, all the Canadian blue boxes are 1.4's
The "Halo2 LE's" were all the left over bell promo boxes , they just stuck a Halo2 game in the box and taped a "Halo 2 Bundle" picture on the outside. The free headset offer said mechassault2 that was crossed out with a sharpie, and some cheezy typewritten note was stapled to the 2 month trial that said it is is expired but will still work. Still a sweet looking xbox though, even though the execution of it was lame.

Sorry just a little rant. Your "Bell Blue" xbox would be a ver 1.4
