okay, so i just bought my xbox yesterday. it is an earlier version since i bought it used, because i was told to buy a version before 1.5. anyway, i realized you can't play burned audio cds on an xbox since it doesnt recognize them. i was wondering, when my friend mods my xbox, will i be able to listen to the cds? he said when he mods it he reflashes the bios on the motherboard.

sorry if this is a complete newbie question, i am new to xbox things.

a pot tweak might work, but your best bet is to just get a new new drive if you need to read lots of cd-r
