Curious problem here: the last two backups I've made work perfectly fine - they load and play just like they should - but they lock up the machine when I eject them. No big deal, really, because the discs eject and all I have to do is reboot the Xbox, but I'm wondering why this is happening.
I use Mac OS X so I don't have access to any of the PC extract and burn tools, but the Mac tools have always worked well for me. Never had a problem.
I'm using the same tools and media as I always have. The one thing that has changed is that I switched the Xbox from PAL to NTSC using Enigmah Video Select to take advantage of my new HDTV:-)
Any ideas?

PS I should point out this happens running UnleashX, XBMC and Avalaunch.

Whoa interesting name there. rolleyes.gif

So the media or how you setup the files (on the Mac or Windows) shouldn't have anything to do with the lockup. Sounds to me like you disabled restart on eject.

Agreed....I'm not sure what else you were expecting the xbox to do though.

Thanks for the quick replies, guys.
How might I have disabled restart on eject, and how might I re-enable it? And why do my other games and backups eject without incident? (Ie, they reboot cleanly to the dash.)
And I like your name too, Mr Ed biggrin.gif

depends on the games, som eliek to lock up, others will keep going for a while, others will throw a DDE at you

the "eject fix" is in the bios, you basicly want a bios without the eject fix

Thanks, Vader.
I figured it was the bios, but what I still don't understand is why it only happens with these two games. Like I said at the start, it's no big deal either way. Just curious:-)

liek i was saying, it all depends on the games themselves, how they are coded by the developers, soem will just freeze up, some will give a DDE, some will keep playing for a while then give a DDE

And some will boot cleanly to the dashboard?
