i took a jpg and then converted it to a tga using photoshop. i then replaced the original decals and packed it. i tried loading it but i get an error. i also get a profile corrupted error when i try to load it using the forza.

i dont think i did these steps as i dont know how to in the photoshop

a. Decal TGA files must be 256 colour palettised TGA files with Alpha channel format. Saving as a regular 256 colour TGA works (the ForzaBINPack makes up a solid alpha channel if none exists).
b. Vinyl TGA files must be greyscale TGA files.

can somebody assist me in doing this for the photoshop

Photoshop calls 256 colour files, "indexed colour".

From the main menu bar...Image->Mode->Indexed color...
