Well im thinking around the lines of "total custom lighting" effects on the faceplates. just pop the faceplate of, run some LED's through the case under the faceplate and set them w/e...

what, like have leds shining out through the gaps where the face plate goes on?

I thought about this when I first heard that there would be user swappable faceplates. Its obvious one of the first mods would be extra lights so why didnt MS put a voltage out port behind the face plate. I would save on invalidating your warranty to mod the console

I remember reading somewhere about a faceplate that logitech is going to making that has a LCD built in to display what song/video/game/time is playing on the xbox360... how how sweet would that be. I can't wait to dig into this thing.

i was thinking the same thing as i read his post. something that will probably be more likely for an early hack b4 people wanna open their cases to mod would be pulling out the usb cover and saudering a wire so the led can draw power from the usb port on the inside. now i dont no if pulling out the cover would damage the case (which it proably would) or there coulod be a clip there. no one really nos yet.

well my first mod will definitley be to stick a small plug under the face plate to get 5v
