Hello all.
First i'd like to thank kingroach and anyone else who worked on UXE, Ndure and XBOXHDM. You guys rock, soft mod all the way tongue.gif

Now onto what i need help with. I followed this tut right down to teh tee. WORKED GREAT!! thank you, but now i want to upgrade the HDD.

I picked up a nice Segate 200Gb HDD and am ready to install it, now my original idea was to get the EEPROM fomr the xbox, get generate the HDD key, clone the stock HDD and lock it with my generated key. But then 2 things came to mind.
1)Do i need a Bios that can support 137gb+ patitions
2)Isn't there an easier way.

so if anyone can give me a hand (mabye even link me to a tut) that'd be fantastic.

Thankyou guys so much ehre at xbox-scene. you rock the xbox world!

1) No. Just format the F and/or G drive(s) depending on which NKPatcher you used.

2) Not really, except I would usggest using xboxhdm to lock and unlock directly from your EEProm, instead of manualy typing in the HD key.

i see. So i can just format it with say Evox (with the FTP command) amd first clone it with XboxHDM thenn format it.

how do i get XboxHDM to use the eeprom? does it just detect it form the HDD?

thanks for your help!

You cant stuff the thing in ur xbox now, it wont boot.

Needed items:
Your eeprom
Xboxhdm
1 empty CD-R(W)
Kingroach's Ndure installer for PC
A copy of the 5960 M$dash (from slayers 2.6 for example)

Use kingroach's installer to create your C and E drives. (readme explains it completly)
Place those C and E drives + your eeprom in the corresponding dirs of xboxhdm
run the make-iso-win.bat
burn the ISO
remove all HD's, place the new HD as primairy master
boot the xboxhdm cd
option 1, then do a full rebuild
reboot
option 3, lockhd -a
poweroff
shove the hd in ur xbox.

if that aint enuff, try reading a few xboxhdm topics. Cloning would also work, but you will need to reformat ur F drive and it takes ages. Backing up all ur savegames etc via FTP is ALOT faster.

so after reading this topic... i was wondering if it was possible for me to upgrade my stock hdd to a bigger one without being banned from xbox live? or does this breach the marriage theory?

ok, so its all done, i followed that small tut to tht T. works GREAT im so glad, and i now understnad how xboxHDM and ndure works, its fantastic, but i have one prob...

My cdrive is empty.....there is nothign in there, i checked the ISO i burned and there is stuff there it jsut didn't copy over, so should i just FTP it over? or is it empty for a reason, also when i press eject (should boot up to M$Dash, i get error 21, im pretty sure thats a dash error, so i assume somethings not right)

thanks alot!
