It shouldn't error out like that. If anything it should be bumping you back to the EvoX dash. Are you booting to EvoX from a disc? If not, how are the filenames set up? xboxdash/msxboxdash? evoxdash/xboxdash?

When booting EvoX from a disc, the main program should be named default.xbe. When running both the EvoX dash and the MS dash from your HDD, you have a couple different options in the way of naming schemes.

1) Name the EvoX dash evoxdash.xbe and name the MS dash xboxdash.xbe. This is really only possible if you are running a newer BIOS. This way, if you disable the mod, it will still be able to boot the default dash, as it is still signed. Don't forget to make sure evox.ini points to xboxdash.xbe as the MS dash.

2) Name the EvoX dash xboxdash.xbe and name the MS dash msxboxdash.xbe. This is for older BIOSes that do not support the newer multi-dash name scheme. If you disable the mod, you will receive a dashboard error because it will only look at xboxdash.xbe, which is unsigned code. By default evox.ini points to msxboxdash.xbe as the MS dash.
