Hi,

I just got my router installed. I get connected to my xbox. I am currently trying to transfer an iso file of 5.5Gb to my xbox. Everything runs fine until it reaches about 4.5Gb. After that I get an error and the transfer starts all over again. I tried FlashFTX and with Internet explorer. I have about 10Gb free on my xbox.

error reading:
*****
An error occurred copying a file to the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the server.

Details:
200 Type set to Image
502 pasv is not implemented
200 Type set to Image
200 Port command ok.
150 Opening Binary data connection for F:\games\temp\game.iso

Please help me!! I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks for the help. smile.gif

What are you trying to put on there a game iso?
You need DVD2Xbox to get games on HDD.

You can't FTP an ISO that size onto the Xbox HDD.
If its a game save yourself the worry just use DVD2XBOX to transfer it as already said

You don't need to. Just stick in the original game disc and its all done in the xbox. Loads quicker and no need for the PC

DVD2XBOX will rip the game from the original to the HD without the use of a PC. No need to use the PC to back it up.

Hi,

I only have the backup iso on my pc. I tried a dual layer DVD but the xbox will not read it. So my only chance is via the network. And that will not work.. see my previous post.

Any other ideas ?! Thanks.

No orignal disk = didn't buy the game = no legal backup. You sir are a pirate and not welcome here. READ THE RULES.

If you don't own the original then that is piracy I am afraid.
