What is the bottom line?

Is there any modification that can be done to allow me to burn Xbox games on my PC's DVD-R to play on a modified Xbox, period?

I don't want to worry about updating BIOS's to play new games.

I am looking for a process similar to the old PS1 mods.

thanks,
Jennifer

if u researched a little u wud already know the answer
yes, using a mod chip will allow u to play dvd-r backups of your games
there r numerous tuts on how to backup games
just remember tho':
u significantly reduce the lifespan of your box dvd rom unit if u use shoddy dvd-r media
(this also applies to ps/ps2...)

Thanks,

I have been researching but primarily have found most information on the HD route. That seems a little too complex for me.

I have found very little information on the straight mod/burn route.

What about the fact that the xbox reads outside-in and the burners write inside-out? Is this not an issue if I use Nero?
