Just installed a new AppleX V2 Chip running an LinuxBios. I'm not able to boot the Evox Install Disc. I'm not even able to boot from HDD, it says it is locked? Is this a correct behaviour? If i insert the CD it tries to read a file called linuxboot.cfg, but this is not on the Disc, of course!?
Is there a need to flash the chip? I just want to watch some DVD's and DIVX, and sometimes play a game...

Also, there is _no_ bios subfolder in my EvoX-Archive (but there is one mentioned in the FAQ).

Any help?

I've already flashed my chip using ozflash (booted linux). Everything seemed to be fine, there was no error-messages etc. I installed the evox 3.6 v1.1 bios to my box. But now every time i power up, i just get a blank screen. If i press the CD-Eject-Button it blinks, but the tray will not open. I've already opened the tray manually and inserted the EvoX-Install CD, but all i get is a blank screen...

Is there any chance for my box to get back to live?
