I have a pal xbox with the enigmha video switch set to ntsc to give me HDTV options with my x2vga.

The problem is 1080i wont work properly, my LCD monitor is capable of the resolution but it comes up with a garbled picture and there are horizontal lines when 1080i is enabled.

I tried on another CRT monitor and it worked fine. Can my monitor not handle the frequency? is there a way to fix this?

Thanks for any help.

It sounds like your projector simply doesn't support that resolution. sad.gif Or maybe it only supports in in PAL 50HZ mode which the XBOX cannot do. 1080i is 60Hz on the XBOX and in North America (ATSC standard).
