i've look throught the forum and tried to find the same problem but i couldnt.

so this is the problem,

i had a xecuter 2.6 chip and i flashed the worng bios to it, so i bought another one and installed(checked connections). started it up and the cromwell bios screen comes up and every time i go to flash it from disk or C
drive it says erase failed! i've checked the switches and connections etc. but it doesn't seem to make any difference the bios is from the disk i used on my original chip, so it should be ok.

if anyone could help i would be grateful
