I want to know before I buy some, anyone used them and know? Exact model number only please.

Crap removed.

The drive appears inside the Xbox HDD-database, but it is unknown whether it is lockable or not.

You can also check that database for drives which are and which aren't lockable.

Thanks but I know, that's why I asked here as the numbnutts who posted it on the database hadn't even tried to lock it so it remained "unknown" when it would have taken him all of 20 seconds to find out and make his posting a damn sight more useful for everyone looking at it.

I heard Maxtor is 90%+ lockable. I'm willing to bet money it's lockable.

i have a maxtor 250, not sure if its that model or not, ill check when i get home

mine is lockable though

Ive tried three different maxtors <40gb and none of them were lockable. Maybe the bigger ones have a better chance of being lockable.
