I need the pinouts of a samsung drive so I can find out which wires to cut to disable the dvd drive from opening.
That means the spots that power the motors in the drive, and not the button on the front.

Or I could be messing with my brother and install a switch on the wire so i can disable his xbox. Because it isnt modded so he needs disks.

But a fliptop would be a good idea

Why not install a kill switch? You could use the wire from the p/e board to put the switch on then put that on the back.

He'd see the switch.

Can someone actually answer my question instead of telling me how I can go about destroying my brothers xbox. I can do that, but I need to know what I asked in the original post.

We are trying to give you alternatives because I cannot find any "pinouts".

I was wanting to connect my xbox DVD drive to my PC, and I see the pinout above, but the standard power cables in a PC has 4 wires. the +12V the +5V and the grounds.

Whcih cable connects to what?
