I'm looking for a drive without an extending tray that i can use on my xbox. Anyone think that's a bad idea? Anyone know where to get one?

It's a great idea, but it won't read Xbox games.

Ok, I guess that's a very important point I didn't realize, only one kind of DVD drive reads xbox games?

Either a stock Xbox drive or one modded to work. But even then only certain drives can be modded to work and none of them are slot-fed...they all have trays.
I still think it's an awesome idea.

There aren't any slot loading Samsung drives, which is the only non xbox dvd drive that'll work with the xbox. However, if you're interesting in getting one of these, I managed to find one for $45 with free shipping if you're interested.
