Hi everyone, I remember hearing about a star wars 3rd party controller. When you plugged it in, you had some cheat available on the game. (Don't remember the specifics). My question is, could you do this same thing with another game. Like, could you possibly load cheats into a controller, so that on a certain game you could have advantages? Im sure you need some background on what this product it, ill start searching for it now, but it would be a cool little thing to show off at halo lan parties. =)

it's not a cheat, it's a combo button. you can map a button combination
to this one buttton and then press it while playing to execute the combo.

Yeah, those are called macros. Basically, you can set your controller to perform a series of button pressed by just pressing one button. It's useless in FPS games, though good for fighting games and games with combos in general. Only problem is that if you're playing Ninja Gaiden or a similar game and you don't get the setup exactly right, you can die pretty quickly since you can't control your character while the macro is in use.
