I just added another 64MB RAM to my v1.1 Xbox. After few hours of soldering job, I am able to get xbox to boot up. With X2 4983 and IND5003 Bios, it correctly recognized 128MB on board memory.

But, the problem is the debug mode (XBDM) stops working.

I use IND5003 with debug mode enabled, I am able to get into Dashboard (I use Avalaunch). But it failed to launching any applications from AvaDash. Once I turned off debug mode, everthying is fine, I can load XBMC, runing games, apps. XBMC reports 128MB as well.

I am wondering maybe there are problems with my soldering job. Is there any memory testing utility (like memtest86 for PC) for Xbox ?

well, there is nothing for Xbox.....

however if you run linux, you should be able to download a RAM tester like memtest for Linux and run it. Either way it tests the exact same RAM so should do the trick.
