I would love to help you, but give us some information on your hub (Make, Model Firmware). Also, please stop abbreviating & chopping up your words, since this not only makes it hard to analyze your problem, but is also a pain in the ass to read. I am positive that you will receive more replies if you do this. Me personally, I will further answer your questions if this changes. Your choice.

o shoot im sorry. i was actually in bit of a hurry when i typed that, because i wanted to check if i skipped the hub alltogather (direct wire from the modem to the nic in the comp) would it work, and the sad part is no, im still getting the same error. so in other words its not my hub. and it shouldent be, because i had this in my older computer and had no problems. so im sure its some settings that i should be changing. so if any of you guys have a hub in your comp and have win xp running can u plese tell me what your network connection settings are(in deatil plese) or if you know how to fix it, or have the same problem and have fixed it plese lemme know thx alot

Check this forum: http://www.dslreports.com/forums/3 (This is neither DSL or Broadband specific)
Search for "your messenger name" with your problem.

Hope this helps.
