Hi I am planning on modding my XBOX. I do not have nor do I have access to a DVD-RW. I am wondering if I could purchase a dvd copy of Evox, XBOX media player, or other software I would need to get started. Thank you for your help. Ko2paTro2pa@aol.com

I believe the answer would be NO NEED, you can use CDRW, I recommend imation CDRW's they are friendly to both DVD versions in the Xbox's

as far as any kind of software

Please take into account the liabilities of this site. we cant just go around posting links to the roms and files, the legal loophole for the moment is the chips are shipped blank. the software is aquired from programmers around the world for free.
