I am installing a Spider Chip v1.1 in a Xbox v1.4

I was able to get the chip seated and the E wire in the correct DO hole. The Spider Chip screen came up, I inserted my flash disc with Xecuter 4977. It flashed, said it was going to power off, and it did. Then it tried to start back up, and would only frag.

I have installed two spider chips in a v1.0 Xbox and a v1.2 Xbox with no major problems other than the holes on the mother board being filled in on the v1.0. Nothing a popsicle stick couldn't fix.

Did the flash go bad on this chip? If so, how can I correct this.

I have an original hard drive from an Xbox that has EVOX installed on it. If I install that can I flash the chip from the hard drive? The chip will power up if I don't have the E wire in the DO hole. Once I insert that wire, the chip frags.

One comment I'd like to make about the spider chip... that thing should certainly be re-designed to align the pogo pins with the holes on the motherboard a little better, that is very annoying.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any help; everyone has been very helpful in the past, and I appreciate that.
