I just killed my mobo. I was fixing a few vias and traces today and I checked my work with a multimeter. I connected a prob to a pin on my cheapmod and the other prob to ground. When I did this I almost instantly smelled burning electronics, and the xbox shut down. Now when I try to turn it on it turns on for about .25 secs. mad.gif DAMN IT mad.gif How do I find out what is still good and where I can sell the other parts (CPU,GPU,RAM,ect.) I think I either blew something on my power supply or on the mobo. grr.gif FUC|< grr.gif

if you want, set it up on Ebay, or in the Buy, Sell and Trade forum. You might get a few bucks for the DVD drive, HDD, Case, even the fried Mobo. People pay for new power supply units as well
