ok so whenever i have it on a floppy with the other files needed i can just have the new xbox hd hooked up on the inside of the computer and boot from the floppy without any operating system right? because i am using a live linux disk "ubuntu" and was wondering if this would affect it it anyway my pc harddisk is messed up bad....dunno whats wrong with it but cant boot into windows with it so can i getta straight forward answer?

If you have used your c/e/eeprom files and folders in xbox hdm, made the iso and copied it to a disk it will boot xboxhdm on startup from the disk. xboxhdm is linux based so it has a little linux os. If you have all this on a floppy drive i doubt it will fit since floppy disks are too small to even fit xboxhdm on them.
