I want to make XBMC my default dashboard but the only thing holding me back is that when XBMC boots up there is no display of what my current IP address is. This is important to me because my high end "business class" garbage router reassignes a new IP address to my computers and xbox's everytime they boot in the order they boot. Is there any way I can get XBMC to display my IP address on the main screen like the time, date, weather, etc. like it is displayed on avalaunch, evox, and unleashX?

That tutorial is exactly what I need, Thanks!!! I need a little more help though...........I've updated to the T3CH January 29 2006 version of XBMC but cannot locate the "home.xml" file the tutorial speaks about. There is a mention of home in the beginning of xboxmediacenter.xml so I tried to add the code in there as well as making a home.xml file in the root directory but neither worked. Can you tell me in more detail where the code exactly needs to be inserted. Thanks again.
