Yes. Burn a plain-jane data disc.

If your drive won't read CD-R, use CD-RW. Failing that, burn slower, on better media.. or resort to a DVD-R if needed.

Xbox Media Center and such will read pics/etc. from data discs.. no xISOing needed.

nothin wrks in my box i can bakup my games on my HD but i want music on my box and pics is there ne way for the v1.6 to read a burnt cd?

i herd some where tht u can insert a cd in and out abt 30x before the xbox will read it is this tru?

Try CD-RW or DVD-R one of those has to work, if they don't like Xombe said burn different media at slower speeds

At a last resort FTP into your xbox with the link that chorizo1 posted and use that to transfer data to and from your xbox

alternatively, if you're just looking to see pics (or whatever) on your xbox, you could just ftp everything over and call it a night

can i use cd-r/cd-rw to use it as slayers disc? is it readable or bootable on my xbox? i think i have to change my xbox dvd rom to pc-dvdrom for sure

The Slayers Disc will boot of any media your xbox will read. as for finding that out, well its just sort of trial and error. i wouldnt reccomend changing you dvd-rom to a pc-dvdrom because the pc-dvdrom cant read original games.
