also, how the F*** do u get it to work, they;re readme files are shi*t and dont tell ya anything. the most i could get out of it was ya have to have XBMC on ur xbox and then it configures through ur computer...

I use it all the time and it's great. There is a pdf file on the xlink homepage that shows how to set it up with xbmc. It's outdated but still good.

option 1 (unmodded box or just without dash compatability)

1. install Xlink kai on computer (create account)
2. use xlink to "find" your xbox
3. find a game to join
4. go back to your box and click system link->join

option 2 (modded box with dash compatability)

1. install xlink kai on computer (create account)
2. run the Xlink Kai Engine
3. use dash to navagate and join games

This all seemed very simple to me when I started...

BTW, Xlink is way better than XBL FOR THE PRICE.

i personally think its a pain using it from the dash easier on comp but if there far away it works. i just hate how when you join a game from the dash go into the game and the partys closed then you gotta restart your box and all that. it only for halo 2 tough where it sucks all other games you can just join the game arena and see all the games and they dont disappear.
