Hey guys I have issues. For some reason xboxhdm isn't locking my hard drives anymore. I've locked at least 10 using this program and never had a problem before, now it won't lock them. It doesn't even give an error message. NOTE these drives ARE lockable, i've checked the model numbers as well as using atapwd. And i've used both lockhd and hdlock. any ideas?

Are you trying to lock a new hd or is this one you have locked previously?
If it's one you have locked before then use XBOXSCENE as your code.
If it's a new hd, then have you put the eeprom in the eeprom folder of Xboxhdm and then burn the iso to a cd? If so then have you used option 3 at the boot menu and used the lockhd -a or unlockhd -a to lock or unlock the HD. This setup has always worked for me.
If you have already done these steps then I don't have a clue. Hopefully one of the guru's here will have a better idea.

I'm trying to lock a new HD, Its built and all the data is on it. I'm trying to use lockhd -a, but its not working, it doesn't lock it, and doesn't give me an error. So i wrote down the pwd for the hd, and manually entered it with the other utility on the cd called hdlock same thing, i check with atapwd and everything looks like its ready and willing to be locked.
