The author released it as source only. It is up to someone else to actually compile it to an xbe for use on the Xbox, but not much sign of it anywhere.

Thats what I mean.....Nothing on Irc...Just nothing.....

Is there a way to get it to run ourselves? Like with some kind of program to convert it into a workable XBE file....

Its like being a donkey havin a carrot dangled in front of it...... huh.gif

Its why I am at least questioning is authenticity as no one on any site ive been has come back to say if runs let alone on its peformance..

its people like this that THINK everything is entitled to them. newsflash its not.

its a source code and it is REAL, and it needs to be compiled.

Its people like you that are unhelpful towards a reasonable question......that was totally uncalled for man! mad.gif
Im only questioning the authenticity myself....and I will be proven wrong when I see it myself up and running. Have you? If so then why dont you reply politely and give your opinion of it not your opinion of me...
Perhaps advice on how to encode the source into a running xbe file?

I aint no newbie....and even if I was doesn't give you the right to go off on one!

So....back to my point has anyone tried this emu ?...If so how is it?

I agree maybe it was a bit uncalled for (maybe) but he's right. If you aren't a newbie to emulation,
you should already know this. Be patient.

To compile a xbe you need to use the XDK.

Cheers Guys....I am patient...heck if I wanted to use Mame v67 Id use it on my pc...but... I looove emulation on the xbox! laugh.gif
I own a variety of original arcade boards and retro stuff myself but that dont stop me from seeing the stuff up and running on my box.
Im just wondering as to why nobody has posted feedback on its peformance......But as it seems many guys are having trouble with it.....who knows!?

Christ children, relax!

I am very curious about this emu too, it seems that when news of a new XBOX emu is posted on the XBOX news sites, that it appears on IRC within minutes or at most a day after its post, but this one has been posted, and posted again, and still no one has taken the time to compile it. I don't doubt it is real, I just wonder if it actually does anyting at all, and maybe that is the reason no one shares it, cause it don't do anything yet.
