I try to get my gamecube modded with a viper extreme mod
but don't know what I will have to get to make it play back ups like the
programs I will need and all that other stuff need any help will work thanks in advance.

do a search and check the official viper website wink.gif also try doing a search for mod that cube.

XenoGC if you just wanna play originals and backup discs and don't need to backup original games

ViperGC Extreme if you also wanna make your own backups and don't have BBA - then you can just use the Extreme's usb option to backup the game data on your pc

For what I need, the XenoGC performs flawlessly

I agree, the Xeno is a great little chip. You can boot homebrew with it too. They have a tutorial over here.

I personally use the qoob pro, I love it. It's the easiest chip to flash I have ever seen in my life. Litterally.

I flash homebrew to it, old nes games, and a few other things. In all honeslty it is a bit of overkill for me but, that's how I like it. I would reccomend the Xeno if you jsut want to play backups, it's the cheap way to go.
