All righty I couldn't sit around this long, since my First full 360 mod back in late December/Early January, I've been itching to mod up another one. Well, my time has come.

Living in Austin, Texas, I'm going for a University of Texas themed box.

I'm doing all white LED's this time, with a metallic orange paint, and some sort of UTish window, probably just the longhorn.

As of right now the 360 is just in pieces all over my workroom, and I've got the ring of light and the wireless controller LED's changed to white.

More updates as they come

mmm nice bright white:

and the 360 in it's normal habitat (for me at least). Don't mind the pink chair rail, I kind of took over part of the "craft room" and turned it into my lab.

yeah the rest of my junk is all in my room (soldering iron, multimeter, tools, all my boxes of random parts and stuff), that room is just the overflow for all the larger stuff that won't fit anywhere else.

And then there's the guest room closet, it's piled full of all my Xbox 1 parts; motherboards, cases, dvd drives, ...

So yeah my hobby has taken over my whole house...

OK, it's been a while, my order of even more led's came in yesterday so I got to work on the lighting

-White ring of light (5 0603 SMT white LEDs)
-5 3mm white LEDS on each side, angled to optimize the light in to soon-to-be longhorn shaped window.
-4 3mm white LEDS in the fan, pointing out
-White "status" light on the motherboard (I found a neat place so solder a SMT 0603 LED on the motherboard so I did).
-4 3mm white LEDS under the raised part of the hard drive that says "HDD" on it, shines out of the vents. This is triggered by hard drive activity (hint: pin 11 on the hard drive power connector is activity, goes to ground when HDD is doing something. Must open up the hdd power connector to get to this pin).

The "status LED" in the empty pad C7G3

Normally the center pin of that header would be jumpered to either +5v or +12v by jumpering R7V6 or R7V7 respectively, but instead I installed a 330 ohm resistor to R7V6 (5v) to power the LED.
