Sup yall this is the deal. My friends xbox was killed by a lightning strike near his home. The xbox would not turn on at all.So I had him bring it over and just put a new power cord on it and it turned right on. We hooked it up and it started up fine but then after the xbox symbol it give the old call customer service screen(giberish).Any one know how to fix this problem, any help?

No code just the call customer service screen. The one with all the different languages? This xbox was never moddified. We cracked it open nothing seems wrong. It turns on fine just after the xbox screen flashing red lights and call customer service screen.

could be many things. Sounds like a motherboard issue however. Eeproms can be erased or corrupted by exposure to electrical charge and so it could be your eeprom. Its gonna be hard to tell however.
