Anyone have any suggestions on where a good place to purchase an Micro ATX power supply, compatible with an Xbox 360 would be? The 360 needs at least a 16A 12v line as well as a 1A 5v and should be at least 250W. Ive been searching for a while but maybe someone around here knows of a site I am not aware of. Thanks. smile.gif

Mini-box.com has the m1-atx which works on the o.g. xbox. But it won't power the 360 or atleast i don't think it will without some modifications....

The M-1 atx is for a car application anyways (takes ~12v input), that's not what he's looking for.

Try Ebay, there are many high wattage Micro ATX power supplies on there for very cheap.

Most don't say what the actual spec is on the 12V line, so I'd play it safe and get one that's at elast 300w, there's plenty on there that are 300, 320, 350, etc. Even if the 12v draw is slightly over the PSU's spec for 12v, the total power consumption is well below the 300 or so watts so it should be fine.

Yeah I made a mistake like that the first time, found a 420 watt that is just about right for the 12v, but the 5v is something rediculous like .3 Amps. It wasn't too much money so no big deal but just kind of proves I need some sort of specs.
