ok been reading the faqs etc but couldnt get a definite answer to my question.

the question being. Is it possible to get the xbox to recognise hard drive bigger than 137gb using xbtool on a softmodded xbox without flashing the bios. Because thats what im getting from what ive read but im unsure.

Well, you shouldn't be needing to modify a BIOS on a softmodded Xbox. All up-to-date softmods use NKPatcher which supports LBA48 by default. Just choose a .06 or .67 version depending on what you need. Or compile your own.

excellent, so i should be able to just make my drive with xbhdm and throw it in and it should works to its fullest?
