Hi all, I'm trying to use UIX as a multi-game launcher, as it is the most apropriate for my desires, I enjoy the original dash look.

I can make the main menu tabs work is I launch the files from
theHardDrive.ExecuteFile("F:\\Games\\<game>\\default.xbe");
but I can't get them to work when I run them as
theHardDrive.ExecuteFile("D:\\<game>\\default.xbe");

I realize that D:\\ isn't "theHardDrive" but "theDiskDrive.ExecuteFile()" didn't work either.

*************************************************************************
The following code is in default.xip/default.xap:
*************************************************************************
CODE
    control DEF theMainMenuJoy Joystick
    {
        function OnADown()
        {
            PlaySoundA();
            if(nCurMainMenuItem == 0)
            {
                theHardDrive.ExecuteFile("D:\\Black\\default.xbe" );
            }
            else if(nCurMainMenuItem == 1)
            {
                theHardDrive.ExecuteFile("D:\\Half-Life 2\\default.xbe" );
            }
            else if(nCurMainMenuItem == 2)
            {
                theHardDrive.ExecuteFile("D:\\BattleField 2\\default.xbe" );
            }
            else if(nCurMainMenuItem == 3)
            {
                theHardDrive.ExecuteFile("D:\\Mercenaries\\default.xbe" );
            }
        }

*************************************************************************

Thanks for the kickass dash at any rate!

problem is, when I use "theHardDrive.ExecuteFile("D:\default.xbe");" it reboots the xbox, when I use theDiskDrive.ExecuteFile("D:\default.xbe"); it just beeps and does nothing, I'm guessing there is no function for ExecuteFile in theDiskDrive and theHardDrive can't execute off the DVD...

I'm testing this with an original game, Black-NTSC, I want to create a DVD-DL disk that has my M games on it so they aren't on the XBOX, as my son plays on it most of the time.

I know I can use the passcode features of most dashes, but I'd like the DVD to work. And UIX is by far the best dash for a normal looking xbox

So eventually the strudture will be D:\Black\default.xbe;D:\Mercenaries\default.xbe and so on...

Thanks
-Greg C.
