Converting A 1.6 Psu To Be Used With 1.0-1.5 Mobos

If I remember correctly the 1.6 PSU feed the 1.6 mobo with 5 volt from one of the wires while 1.0-1.5 needs 3.3 volt. Could you please show me a simple diagram for a regulator and which voltage pin that should be regulated? Some caps and a regulator is what i need I suppose.

Could a LM1117MP do the job? What caps would I need?

yep, that one should do. Check the datasheet for the cap values, but one 1117 datasheet I have looked at recomended 100nF on the input and 10uF on the output.

You also need to swap some wires.. check http://psu.pablot.com to se how.

I haven't tested it and there could be a problem with the PS_OK signal, but I don't think so.
