Looking for some opinions...

I've heard a lot of good about this new Chameleon chip that is out, and for awhile I thought about taking out my X2Lite for it. Then I second guessed myself saying, "Why upgrade something that already works fine?" I don't know. I did the header pin install of the X2Lite, so I figure if I did upgrade, I'd just have to remove the d0, unplug the old, plug in the new, and solder those four wire points.

I don't know. Suggestions?

One) The Chameleon will probably not be released before we're all dead and gone.

Two) What makes you think it's any better than your X2 Lite? It will add no useful functionality for most users.

The x2 is pretty nice, i dont see why you'd NEED to switch.

The only reason that you may need to upgrade your modchip,
is to install X-elixis Programmer!

With this way you are upgrading your modchip to a programmer,
and you are adding extra features to the current design.
With this way you can use multipl modchips in the same Xbox
and guess what...
With X-elixis LPC connector you don't need any soldering to change modchip whenever you need,
while you always keep one plug-in for backup reasons!

Of course for the moment,
this is suggested only if you come accross a bad flash,
but sooner or later, multiple LPC devices will give extra features to your Xbox,
and then it might be a need to upgrade it...

Umbergeek, you normally should be designing for the moment,
and not following me after each of my post...

No, I don't copy and paste,
cause here we talking about X2 -> Chameleon.

But anyway,
people on this forum (I think) don't like to see us fighting like chickens...
I talk about something new and its features,
while you are disagree with what I say.
What is the meaning of all this?

If you gat balls under your trousers that you wear,
just say what you have to say:
Say that you will come with something amazing that will crash current mods,
cause all the people arround here, is witing to hear this, including myself,
so the game would be more interested..!
