Car Wax And Plastic?

Hi i am new here and i am moding my x-box as we speak i was just wondering can you use car wax on plastic??

i guess so...read the label...if it doesnt say NO then it's probably fine.

dont do it, it doesnt wipe off as easily as it does on metal, plastic is kinda porus so it soaks in and it messes up the plastic

Are you looking to make your plastic shine or something? Or are you looking for something to take off something on the xbox you don't want? If you want something to make your plastic shine, I'd reccomend going to a hardware store or home depot and asking if they have anything that cleans/polishes plastics.

I imagine that if you painted your Xbox with car paint (ie Dupli-Color) that using car wax might make sense.

True. But if you paint it why not just spray 1 or 2 clear coats on. Once those dry to make it re-shine all you really need to do is wipe it with a rag+windex..
