I don't know if this is on here at all, or even wanted on here, but I really wanted a topic like this.

I've had quite a few odd occurances in my Oblivion travels. Just a couple minutes ago while I was doing a quest involving releasing a pirate ghost's spirit from a ship, I had two of them. Firstly when I was on the ship, I jumped up while fighting a wraith and landed in a barrel....I became stuck. I was stuck for twenty minutes trying to get out of that damn barrel. I didn't want to reload my last save because it was an hour earlier. I finally got out. The second odd bit came when after I released his spirit and he gave me a treasure map for my services, I was swimming to the chest underwater and as I'm passing under a low bridge I see a troll body floating to the top. "Huh?, I don't remember killing that." I open it to see what it has, and I take a poorly written note, some gold and something else. This is what the note reads. "Mee wurst troll evurr. Nobody pay brigg tole. Me nott sceary enuf. Mee gett drunc an kil sellf. Troll droun." A fucking troll killed itself! I laughed so goddamn hard after I read that. What experiences have you guys been in?

I found it a ways south east of Bravil. When the niben bay turns into a winding river in the south east. Find "the mouth of the panther" and just swim the winding river until maybe you come across it. If you get there in time, please try to stop it from killing itself. Pull a martin riggs from lethal weapon. "Do you wanna jump? Well that's fine with me!"

Whenever you find the Sanguine shrine....don't do it. I was on the run from the guards for a half an hour, and had to lay low until my fence that would lower my bounty would show up. It's funny, but a big hassle. What's really funny is the paper I read the next time I was in Leyawiin. It has to do with what I did for the sanguine quest. Very funny stuff.

HAHAHAHA i noticed that too. each race has like 4-6 diffrent voices for the male and female. its like they choose a voice to match the age of the character so all 20-30 year old imperial males have the same voice. kinda annoying but doesnt stop me from playing!

says the person who hasn't finished half of the guild quest-lines or the main story yet... you know those guilds do spawn more quests past their own questline. rolleyes.gif

Do they really spawn more quests after their questline is done? I had no idea about that, I figured once I finished it there would bew no more quests. Thats cool.

Totally weak, really I don't find it that problematic at all. I wouldn't expect them to have unique voices for every NPC anyway. If it bothers you THAT much turn the voice volume all the way down and just read the sub titles... Problem Solved cool.gif

I was just mimicking the whiners. I love Oblivion, but I must admit it's more of an action game than a broad world (and I'm not talking about size).

Love it, though. smile.gif

edit: I meant I blame voice dialogue on the short amount of non-guild quests. Morrowind has a myriad of quests everywhere, due to the ease of creating them in the first place.

A few times in the game, while sleeping at inns or guild halls... I'll wake up and there will be a dude next to me in the bed. WTF?!
