I have upgraded my Hard Drive to 300gb Maxtor.
I have formatted/partitioned it correctly and ftp'd my files back across..

everything is working fine but my HD Key is different to my original HD.
Should I use my back-up EEPROM file from my original Hard Drive?

The X3 chip has created this backed up copy when i first modded.

I would imagine that the only thing i am missing out on is Xbox Live which i am not using on the xbox anyway...

is this is a case of it aint broke don't mess with it?

If you never plan to use xbox live then I wouldn't worry about it.

I think I remember helping you when you were installing your chip/flashing it. Good to see you've got things going and your enjoying the world of a modded xbox. biggrin.gif

If your not gonnna use xbox live than leave your HD unlocked or lock it but have a backup of all your important info on your computer HD. You dont wanna ruin your MOtherBoard and have a 300gig paperweight
