Cure For Vampirism Glitch
Posted 20 April 2006 - 12:14 AM
If you have finished the main oblivion quest, this is the reason for the glitch!
It's to do with finding bloodgrass in oblivion gate areas and since you've closed all the gates, this is the reason for this annoying bug. Even if you buy it from vendors, it still doesn't solve the problem.
I have the same problem and was told by customer support to await a patch on xbox live!
Being stuck as a vampire untill Take-Two Interactive get their act together really sucks, and is ruining an otherwise faultless game

I finished the 2 subquests for Argonian blood and the vampires ashes, then collected the Nightshade, Garlic and Bloodgrass.
When i returned to the witch who's supposed to make your cure vampirism potion she would only take from me the garlic, nightshade, Argonian blood and vampire ashes. The bloodgrass wasn't even available for me to hand over, even though i had 10 sprigs in my inventory!
Any more info on this glitch is appreciated.

an otherwise faultless game
I wouldn't go that far.... The loading screens are starting to get worse for me. I realized something though. It started when I rode Shadowmere. The problem is that he is so fast the game can't buffer the area load. If I walk normally, it's better. The game is damn fun though.

have you checked if any blood grass still grows around the demolished gates?
It doesnt matter if we can obtain bloodgrass the problem is she wont accept it!
