hi. i am total noob at this stuff and am just getting started. i was hoping that some of you could give me a little check list of what i need to softmod my xbox. if you know things that are harder and might mess up my xbox tell me. i have an xbox 360 so i will be taking a few more risks with my xbox. i also heard somewhere that if you have been on xbox live before you softmod your xbox you cant get on because you need a new eprom or something. if i do could you tell me how to change mine and find another on an xbox. i have no idea how to do it. thank you all for your future help.

@ poster don't use SID, go with Krayzies Ndure. there are useful links in my Sig.

DigDug93, read the rules, OFFERING FILES IS NOT ALLOWED.

Use Ndure 1.1. It's the most stable softmod out there. SID, while it might have been good at one time, has been bettered.

As far as the eeprom goes, you don't have to worry about that unless you were banned. And if you were banned you would have to replace your hard drive as well. XBL marries the two of them. Now if you were planning on upgrading your hard drive also, then yes you would have to change your eeprom with one that's clean.

Cold boot to your original xbox game to play on XBL using Ndure.
