Hello everyone,

I'm new here on Xlink Kai and i've already obtained the program, as well an Xtag for myself.
Now i wish to use the Setup B: Cable/DSL Modem(USB) method(1 NIC) for connecting my Xbox to Xlink.
My question is, since i'm using the USB connection to access the internet, will i need to assign a Static ip? on my computer or will i need to set it to "Obtain ip automatically?(DHCP) for use with Xlink? and if i need to assign an ip address(Static ip), can i use the same ip i'm currently using to FTP to my xbox?

Side question--> I'm currently running XBMC on my xbox as default dash and wish to use the intergrated Xlink capabilities using the usb/DSL modem method. Can i set Xlink to "Engine only" to access Xlink from XBMC?

your setup should work , u have the xbox into a nice on your pc ? .. make sure its a crossover cable .. in the kai config select the network card that connects to the xbox instead of autodetect .. load kai and than hit the globe at the top left , navigate to your game and play :]
